300th Certified Professional Organizer^® Expected During Computer-Based CPO^® Exam Window

Dunedin, FL. The computer-based, 2-hour Certified Professional Organizer^® (CPO^®) exam can be scheduled any time February 1 through 28, 2009. During the February exam window, a milestone 300th CPO^® is expected to pass the examination to become certified.

Since the inaugural examination was given in 2007, the number of CPO^®s in the world has grown to 299, representing the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Netherlands and Hong Kong. The testing process for obtaining this prestigious designation is easy to schedule and testing sites are conveniently located throughout the United States, Canada and other countries.

Anyone who meets the specific minimum criteria, and proves through examination and client interaction that they possess the body of knowledge and experience required for certification, can earn the designation through the Board of Certification for Professional Organizers. For example, home and real estate stagers, senior move managers, records managers and other related specialists may qualify.

The Board of Certification for Professional Organizers (BCPO^®) is the self-governing, independent certifying body formed to recognize and raise industry standards, practices and ethics through independent certification. The CPO^® exam is given during designated times via computer at testing sites around the world.
